We have some sad news about our friend Gary. Many of you know Gary as the owner of the Flamingo Show Club for many years, or from back in the days of the Country Music Cabaret, or Heavenly Bodies. We are sad to announce that Gary has passed. If you were a friend, please stop in, have a drink, and share a story or two.
News Death Notice
LEGG, Gary Lee Sr. 74, died on April 14, 2009. He was born in Huntington West Virginia May 24, 1934. Mr. Legg served as President and Vice President for Teamsters Union, Local 957 in Dayton, OH for many years. He was also the former owner of The Flamingo Show Club. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of thirty two years, Betty Legg, his children, David Legg of Dayton, OH, Gary Legg Jr. of Milton, OH, Rodney Legg of Palm Springs, CA, Marsha Earl-Legg, Brenda Kniffin (John) of Simpsonville, SC, Robert Banner (Mercedes) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Judi Collins (David Mutters) of Jupiter, FL, and Cathi Buffer (Alan) of Coconut Grove, FL; grandchildren, Allison Legg, Mark and Chuck Busse, Jodi Whitehead, Bari Conti & Jodi Wert and Troy Collins; ten great grandchildren; brother, Bill Legg of Kettering, OH and sister Patricia Stallard of Ermine, KY, and his constant companion of 17 years Shotzie.
